She graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a bachelor's degree in music education with a specialty in cello. Her career began in Arizona in 2013 teaching 7th and 8th grade orchestras, which she enjoyed for 6 years. Last year she also taught a guitar class and orchestra classes grades 4th-6th.
